My household has two PS4 Pros. The first which was purchased in mid 2018 has not given me any connection issues, however the one purchased in early 2019 has.
Right out of the box, this thing already refused to connect to my home?s Internet on the first few tries, and when I called the store I purchased it from, they refused to swap it out, claiming the console was fine and that the problem came from my internet. And as this is the fourth PS4 that I have owned, the first three have never given me such issues, apart from the occasional drop which is fine by me.
So following that uneventful phone call, I persisted trying and got it to connect on the fifth try. And since then, it?s been losing connection randomly.
Today, I have hit my breaking point. This console now absolutely can?t stay connected for more than 5 minutes before it disconnects from the internet, and it will refuse to reconnect to the internet until I reboot the console. And having to reboot this PS4 every 5 minutes is absolutely irritating.
What can I do now? Should I send it in for maintenance or is there a way to fix this issue?
